leafing through

For many months, we’d been kinda’ happily hermiting on the weekends.  Even in the peak of the glorious summer days, we preferred staying in doing nada.  But a few weeks ago, we went to a house party and had so much fun, we started feeling like we wanted to hang out with people.  So we started scheduling lunches and dinners on weekends with friends and family.  Something to look forward to every weekend.  This weekend, we went to a comedy show starring Dave Attell.  Comedy shows are so fun.  I mean 2 hours of laughter, what more do you need?  Oh right, greasy bar food.  The fries were too delicious.  Saturday, we had cousins come over for dinner and one of them introduced us to the game, 7 Wonders.  We were all thoroughly confused at first but we slowly picked it up as we started playing.  Good times, I was sad when we had to stop playing.  And Sunday, more cousins came over for dinner and we caught up with them over some food and wine.  I like these kinds of weekends!
