Every Fourth of July weekend the Smithsonian Folklife Festival comes around displaying cultures from around the world as well as showing off some government services. This year’s themes were Colombia, Peace Corps, and Rhythm and Blues.
My favorite part was watching the craftsmaking out of Colombia and some of the Peace Corps displays. It was super hot outside though so we didn’t hang around too long.
