Since we just got back from our vacation a few weeks ago, it seems a bit premature to be planning another one. I mean, it’s nice to think about where we could go but actually picking a date and planning the trip won’t be for a while. So I’ve been poking around the Internet looking for simple activities we could do locally, especially now that the weather has gone summer on us. Without planning, it’s so easy to stay home all day. Relaxing, but uneventful. So far, I’m looking at some volunteering events with animals to get my doggy and kitty fix and maybe heading downtown for some people watching and good food, farmers markets, and annual fairs and such. I’ve really gotten back into cooking lately so we haven’t eaten out too much. Maybe we can go out and enjoy the local flavors again too. First on my list is Pizza Hut. I know, I know. But it’s that dang stuffed crust pizza commercial we keep seeing on TV. It looks too good to not try. Awww who am I kidding. I want to go on another vacation.
