leafing through

We just got back this morning and I’ve greeted Marco and Gina. They just got some food and now they’re running around the place causing mayhem. I’ve missed them but now that we’re back, I miss the buns. Fluffy especially.

Fluffa is a Flemish Giant and the cutest, friendliest bunny ever. She is very social and trusting towards animals and people. Anybody. I mean, the first time we met her, she was a little shy but in a matter of hours, she was happily licking my toes and coming to me when I called her (mostly). She loves being petted and will use her nose to nudge your hands to her forehead, where she loves being stroked between the eyes. If everyone heads downstairs, she’ll follow. Sometimes just because she’s curious and sometimes because she likes the company. When she lays out, flopped over or legs splayed, she doesn’t even bat and eyelash when I kick her feet around, messing with her toes. She’s just completely unfazed by my pestering her, calm as can be. We think in the last 5 days since we’ve visited she’s grown. At the rate she eats though, it’s no surprise. And for anyone who thinks bunnies smell or are dirty, Fluffa is very clean and doesn’t smell at all. She’s constantly licking and grooming herself and Hellspawn (and vice versa) she uses a litterbox. As much as I’m glad to be home to Marco and Gina, I sure miss her. And I miss Hellspawn too. Even if he’s a grouch sometimes.
