Every weekend for the past 3 weekends, I have been doing my taxes. I’ve done it five times now and gotten 4 different results. I can’t use the repeated answer because I know the mistake in both of those. Yesterday, before doing my taxes I putzed around for a good bit. I tended the plants (Farmville and real life), cooked, ate, entertained the chinchillas, vacuumed, mopped, dusted, wiped the windows, cleaned the blinds. This place is going to shine like the top of the Empire State Building! … by the time my taxes are done. Today I need to do it again to double check what I did yesterday! AAAGGHHH!! I’m so sick of typing in my W-2s for what feels like the jillionth time! In the meantime, I’ve done laundry, even folded and ironed shirts! ME! IRON!! Unheard of. That’s how much I am hating taxes right now. Dishes are loaded in the dishwasher, plants are watered. Chinchillas have busted loose. And I’m thinking of hiring a tax accountant.
Update: I just vacuumed the place again. Then I put another layer of topsoil over the pots filled with peat. Then I watered everything again. No plants in them yet. Just prepping for the seedlings. I think I see some streaks on the windows still.
Update: Vacuumed floor again. Mopped floor again. Did taxes for the 7th time. Am officially a tax dunce! I dunno, I might wear out this floor by the time this tax season is over.

This is hilarious. Maybe you should hire someone since at this point, you’ve spent waaay too much time. On the other hand, your place is sparkling! Like K’s! Hehe
lol i thought you said taxes were easy peezy with software?!?!… and don’t you live with some kind of genius??
That’s what I thought about using TurboTax!! There’s just too many questions and too much reading. You know I had to figure this out on my own once I’d gone that far. I mean, I don’t know how many times constitutes “too far” but I reached it somewhere between 1 and 7.
I tried Turbo Tax online last year and didn’t like it. Oh Prosystems, how I miss thee…
I should’ve asked you sooner, what software do you use?
I usually did mine at work when I worked at a cpa firm. :-\ I think I’ll use one of those online efile softwares this year…
