I got this recipe from a manager in my office. It’s unbelievably easy and delicious. Who doesn’t like applesauce?
- Take whatever apples you like (she recommended golden delicious), I used red delicious. It’s great for using up apples that are bruised or uncrunchy.
- Wash and bake them, then let them cool.
- Pick out the skin and insides and mash them up.
- Add some cinnamon (nutmeg, and whatever spices you might like)
You know what to do next.

I didn’t keep track of the time, but probably an hour and a half at 350 deg. F. Stick a fork in the fruit to see if it slides in easily. The apples should be soft and mushy.

you make applesauce a different way than me. I just cut them up, put them in a pot with water, and boil them. I wonder if it tastes different this way…
