I got this recipe from a manager in my office. It’s unbelievably easy and delicious. Who doesn’t like applesauce?

  1. Take whatever apples you like (she recommended golden delicious), I used red delicious. It’s great for using up apples that are bruised or uncrunchy.
  2. Red Delicious

  3. Wash and bake them, then let them cool.
  4. Baked Apples

  5. Pick out the skin and insides and mash them up.
  6. Add some cinnamon (nutmeg, and whatever spices you might like)
  7. Applesauce

You know what to do next.

how long do you bake em for?

  3. I didn’t keep track of the time, but probably an hour and a half at 350 deg. F. Stick a fork in the fruit to see if it slides in easily. The apples should be soft and mushy.

  4. you make applesauce a different way than me. I just cut them up, put them in a pot with water, and boil them. I wonder if it tastes different this way…
