Happy Groundhog Day! The majority of the groundhogs predicted an early Spring.
We had our Lunar New Year dinner early. It’s really not til the 7th. The food just kept on coming and just when we thought we were finished, another dish would arrive.
The most interesting dish we dubbed mantou taco sandwiches.
It’s this steamed bread that opens like a taco and you fill it with duck, onion, and hoisin sauce. Very similar to peking duck only instead of burrito wraps you use mantous.
Edwards dropped out earlier this week. So we’re left with Hillary Obama. Despite their clashes, I think they’re pretty similar. So who’s the ticket to get a Democrat in the White House? Some people believe Obama is the one to beat the Republicans, while others think we’re just not ready for a black guy. “We” referring to the rednecks in pertikler. I once thought we’d have a black president before we could ever have a woman because women won suffrage last. Now it seems like a tossup. I mean, is America ready for a woman or black? The thought of us winding up with McCain is starting to seem more and more possible.
