Happy Earth Day!

Check out your ecological footprint. My footprint is pretty huge 18 acres, I could do so much better! I think a lot of it has to do with where I live and the lack of readily available public transportation. If only we invested as much money in public transit as we did in the highway systems. At any rate, just doing what I can to keep Earth habitable for a little while longer. At least until we find someplace else to go.

I read The Green Book by Jill Paton Walsh in elementary school. That was the first time I ever thought about the possibility of not being able to stay on this planet, and having to move to a whole new world. It was the scariest book I’d read as a kid. Obviously it left a memorable impression.
