Like so many other people in this world, I grind my teeth when I sleep. Before I’m about to go to bed, I can feel my jaws start to clench. It’s like a Pavlovian reaction to my nightly ritual. By the time my head hits the pillow, my teeth and jaws are sore and I have to consciously open my jaw a bit before falling asleep. I finally had enough of waking up with a sore jaw and suffering from sensitive teeth, I got myself a nightguard. A real, fitted, expensive, not-covered-by-insurance one from the dentist. Haven’t used it yet but I’m hoping it will save my teeth. I’ve always been a bit of a teeth-grinder but lately, it’s been awful. My dentist is really nice. I think he noticed the teeth grinding and asked me what’s been going on in my life that’s stressing me out. What can I say? The lack of a nightguard stresses me out. I got one, so now I can relax. Came with a cool glow-in-the-dark case too!

oo cool… kinda looks like a retainer…don’t lose it! =P how much was it? and is that only top teeth? or bottom?
did ya hear about vtech?…
It was $248, so I plan on using it for a long time. They fit on the bottom teeth.
Yeah, just read about Virginia Tech on the news. It’s so sad and frightening.
